I have always had an interest in arts, even as a young child. I loved coloring and drawing, I just
never out grew it. I checked into art classes in the late seventies and at that time in my life. I just
could not afford it! I had two small children, so I put it on the back burner
(I know a lot of you know what I mean about that back burner). In the late eighties Gary
(My Husband) heard about Kathy Davis giving paint class in Reidsville, Georgia. He tried to get
me to sign up for it but I was working. I thought that so much time had slip by, their was
not must use trying it now.
I thank God for Gary he knew that this was my dream and did not give up own me.
He talk with Kathy again and found out Brenda Harris was teaching a class in Vidalia, Ga.
He just would not let me say no this time. I finely made it to my first paint class
November 23,2002, and that's all it took. Gary is my hero, He help me save my
dream. Had it not been for Him and Kathy I don't think I would have made it?
I am a self taught Artist and now I have took class with some very well know Artist.
